هو يوم التاسع من شهر ذي الحجة، من أفضل الأيام عند المسلمين فهو أحد أيام العشر من ذي الحجة. فيه يقف الحُجّاج على جبل عرفة ( أهم أركان الحج)، ويقع عرفة شرق مكة على الطريق الرابط بينها وبين الطائف..
