Among the cosmic verses that included scientific miracles are the following two verses: The Almighty’s verse: So they spent seven heavens on two days and revealed in every sky of her command. ) verses included three scientific miracles, which we will mention in general, and then we will discuss them in some detail: The first miracle: that the universe was full of gas at the beginning of its inception, and this is learned from the Almighty’s saying: {And it is smoke}. The second miracle: that the universe - the heavens and the earth - came from a real speech, and this is learned from the saying of the Almighty: {They said: We came obediently}. ) to the sky when it was smoke}. Scientific studies and astronomical research have proven that the universe was filled with smoke. With very hot gas, in addition to cosmic dust, this gas was like clouds. Scientists have been able to see clouds of gas around one of the very distant stars on the edge of the visible universe, and they confirmed that stars are formed from these gas clouds. ) shortened all these terms (clouds of gas, hot gas, dust, atoms...) shortened them in a comprehensive and expressive word, which is “smoke.” This word denotes gas, as well as heat, and also contains a reference to what looks like clouds. The word accurately expressed the reality of that stage of the universe's life, and shortened the many sentences that scientists used to express that stage in just one word. (They both came obediently) Scientific studies and astronomical research have shown that the universe, when it was in its early stages, i.e. in the phase of gas, dust and high heat, emitted sound waves. The spread of these waves was helped by the presence of the dense gas that filled the universe, and which served as a suitable medium for the spread of these sounds. And those who contemplate the mathematical laws that God Almighty deposited in smoke or gas, find, through what is called fluid mechanics engineering, that any gas when it expands and increases in size, emits sound waves from this expansion; This is due to the change in the density of the gas and the movement of its molecules and their friction with each other, which generates these sound waves. It was possible to determine the specifications of these sound waves, and it turned out that they are calm and obedient, similar to the rustling of trees. Some scientists have even drawn a line graph representing these cosmic vibrations, and the graph indicated that the vibrations were not violent, but rather like hissing. And the verse speaks very clearly about the words of the universe, which is in the stage of smoke, and it tells us about the words of the sky at that time and its obedience to its Creator, and some may be surprised by this matter, so how does the sky speak? However, scientific research has proven that sound waves can be emitted from the universe in the phase of smoke or gas. And astronomical studies have proven that the universe is in the phase of hot gas and dust, which emitted sound waves as a result of its expansion. The scientists confirmed that the voice of the universe was quiet, and they likened it to the voice of a baby and the rustling of trees, and this is what the noble verse indicated when it said: “We came obediently.” Many commentators have stated that the words of the heavens and the earth in the verse in question are true. This Imam al-Qurtubi, when interpreting the Almighty’s verse: “They said: We came obediently,” he says: “Most of the people of knowledge said: Rather, God created speech in them, so they spoke as God Almighty wanted.” {And we have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps} The second stage of the universe’s emergence after the stage of gas or smoke, is the stage of stars. And the Qur’an had previously stated that the sky or the universe was smoke, then God decorated the sky with stars, and called them lamps. We know, through the dictionaries of the Arabic language, that the lamp is used to light the road, and we know that the light of these stars is hardly visible, so how did the Qur’an name these stars as lamps, and what do these lamps illuminate? Scientists have taken pictures of the very bright stars, and they realized that these older stars in the universe light up the road that connects us with them, and through them the scientists were able to study their surroundings, and benefited from their enormous illumination, which amounts to a thousand suns like ours! That is why they called it a new and strange name, which is (flashlights); In an article entitled (When the First Cosmic Buildings Formed), it says: "The bright stars illuminate all matter along the path that reaches us. The stars act like distant (spotlights), revealing the characteristics of the early universe." When scientists talk about these bright early stars, they liken them to lamps. And God, Glory be to Him, when He spoke about the stars that adorn the sky, said: {And We have decorated the lowest heaven with lamps}. ) here is manifested in two aspects: The first: It is represented in the scientific precedence of the Qur’an in naming these stars with lamps, which is completely consistent with what scientists see today. The second: It is represented in that the Qur’an specified the time stage in which these stars were formed, which is the next stage of the smoke stage. Thus, all scientists confirm that the next stage of smoke is the stage of formation of lamps, or very bright stars. This is what the Qur'an told us when it first spoke of smoke (and it is smoke). Then he spoke in the immediately following verse about the shining stars: {And we have decorated the lower heaven with lamps}.
